IPHONE IN CANADA - Apr 19 - Torque Network, the first social network app for the EV (Electronic Vehicle) tech community, launched in the Canadian App Store. The app is developed by Ecohive, a renewable energy company based in Toronto, with a $50K investment from the Government of Canada. The app enables EV enthusiasts, industry professionals, ecopreneurs, and EV newbies to grow their network and impact EV space by seamlessly connecting users based on their interests, goals, and geolocation. Torque Network lets its user understand EV tech and key EV concepts through engaging content, interesting facts, and infographics offered in the 'EV-Cyclopedia' and 'Learning Portal' features of the app. The app will later be developed for Android with plans to launch in the US, Europe, and eventually the rest of the world.
