TECH IN ASIA - The Parent Inc, which operates parenting community platform theAsianparent, has added Line Southeast Asia, the VC arm of Japanese messaging platform Line, to its cap table of investors. While The Parent Inc has not confirmed the number of funds raised, VentureCap Insights pegs the deal at $8M. The deal will help The Parent Inc and Line explore new products in the fast-growing mother and baby care market in the Asia Pacific.
