FORBES - Mar 2 - Lunchclub, the AI-powered matchmaker that uses machine learning algorithms to help founders find investors, recruiters find talent, and sales executives find leads, has launched its mobile app on iOS and Android. Launched in 2018 as an invite-only concierge service for in-person introductions, the company pivoted to Zoom chat when the pandemic hit last March. Lunchclub landed a $100M valuation with a $24.2M Series A round. Lunchclub’s AI creates profiles from user questionnaires and public data sources, then matches people based on interests and objectives. Board observer Andrew Chen, who is also the lead investor in Clubhouse, a new audio platform which hit 10M users its first 10 months, said, "For Lunchclub, I see a customer centric business model emerging around recruiting, partnering, mentoring and investing verticals."
