TECH CRUNCH - Aug 25 - Subscription newsletter platform kingpin Substack has acqui-hired the team behind Cocoon, a subscription social media app built for close friends. Though it will continue to operate independently, Substack says they won't acquire the fledgling Cocoon app instead of bringing the small team aboard.
