TECH CRUNCH - A stealth startup, Favs, is set to disrupt the social media landscape by focusing on maintaining strong and meaningful connections between users. Unlike most social networks filled with content from creators and advertisers, Favs aims to provide a more intimate experience without status updates, news feeds, or inboxes. The goal is to limit screen time and create a platform centered on real-world friendships. The Los Angeles-based startup has raised ~$1M in a pre-seed round and plans to launch publicly in Jan 2024.
