TECH CRUNCH - LinkedIn is cutting 716 jobs and discontinuing its local jobs app, InCareer, in China due to fierce competition and a challenging economic climate. While reducing roles, LinkedIn plans to create about 250 new jobs in certain segments and establish new business and accounting management teams. The decision to shutter InCareer follows the closure of LinkedIn's main service in China, with the company now focusing on assisting companies operating in China with hiring, marketing, and training abroad.
