MASHABLE - Jason Citron, founder and CEO of Discord, found himself furiously backpedalling after a tweet teasing a future in-app NFT integration sparked backlash from users. This initial hint at Discord's future plans was received very poorly by users - many of whom threatened to cancel their paid subscriptions over what they called a "pyramid scheme money laundering planet destroying evil."
