RESEARCH SNIPERS - Jan 12 - The federal government announced that it has planned to develop Pakistan's first world-class social networking application for the citizens. The newly introduced application will comprise numerous features like; voice calls, video calls, and messages. Syed Amin-ul-Haque, Federal Minister for IT and Telecom, stated that the IT ministry will develop the social networking application for the people before the end of 2021. The networking app will be introduced in all major cities at the initial stage. The public will have to provide their CNICs and phone numbers to get registered with the application.
